Benha University has opened applications for its 2026 Entrepreneurship Summit, offering selected innovative projects financial support of up to EGP 2.23 million.

The initiative is aimed at researchers, students, graduates and entrepreneurs developing projects in areas including agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy, artificial intelligence and engineering. Projects that combine multiple disciplines will receive priority, according to the announcement.

Applications are open from November 1 to November 23, 2026. Selected participants will then take part in a training and preparation program running from November 24 to December 6.

The program will cover business model development, market research and pitching skills, helping participants prepare to present their projects to investors. It also includes potential links with investors and the industrial sector.

The summit is supported by the Creativa Benha Digital Egypt Innovation Center, Edafa and Bedaya, a company that markets services for Benha University.

By combining funding with training, the initiative aims to help researchers and students turn early-stage ideas into startups and connect university innovation with industry and community needs in Egypt.
