Iraq’s Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has invited owners of small and medium-sized businesses with disabilities to register for the fourth Arab SME Summit, Entrepreneurship 2026, in Baghdad from November 18 to 20.
According to the ministry, the summit will give participating entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their products and introduce their businesses to economic organisations and other attendees. It said the event could also support new connections, knowledge exchange and greater visibility for the capabilities of entrepreneurs with disabilities.
The invitation is part of the ministry’s efforts to support businesses run by people with disabilities and strengthen their participation in economic and entrepreneurial activities.
Applicants have been asked to send their requests to the Public Relations Department of the Authority for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Submissions should include the applicant’s name, project details, type of activity and contact information.
