The US Embassy delegation revealed that new American funding opportunities are now available, encouraging Egyptian institutions to explore projects that align with the updated cooperation priorities.
During the discussions, attendees highlighted Egypt’s strong investment potential, pointing to its strategic location, skilled workforce, and competitive labor costs. Key sectors with significant opportunities were identified, including technology, energy, mining, and digital infrastructure.
AI and Workforce Development on the Agenda
A major focus of the meeting was the importance of developing Egypt’s workforce to meet future market demands. Key topics included the role of Artificial Intelligence, preparing youth for the jobs of tomorrow, and strengthening technical and vocational education programs.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to explore further cooperation between the two parties to support workforce development initiatives and promote sustainable economic growth in the country.
