Dubai AI Campus is targeting more than 1,000 AI companies and over 5,000 skilled jobs by 2030, following new goals approved by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.

The campus, part of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has attracted more than 500 companies since launching in May 2024. According to the announcement, these companies have raised over AED 1 billion ($270M) from private equity and venture capital funds and helped create more than 2,000 specialised technology jobs.

The campus has already surpassed its original five-year targets for company numbers and investment, which were set for 2028. The new goals were announced during the opening of the third Dubai AI Festival at Dubai World Trade Centre.

DIFC is also developing a 100,000-square-foot Dubai AI Campus building in its Zabeel District expansion. The facility will include GPU-ready infrastructure, secure AI development zones, digital twin environments and modular lab-ready floors for testing and validating AI tools.

The site will also feature an AI Experience Centre for applications developed by AI Labs, campus companies and citywide pilots. The festival runs until 27 October, with organisers expecting more than 20,000 attendees from over 100 countries.
