UAE’s Legaline Launches Ai-Powered Mock Courtroom for MENA Law Students

UAE-built legal technology company Legaline Platform has launched Meta Legal Space, a 3D virtual courtroom it describes as MENA’s first AI-powered mock trial platform.

Launched at the Dubai AI Festival, the platform lets law students and trainees argue cases before an AI judge, with AI or human opponents. Clerks, witnesses and legal experts can also be played by people or AI.

Users can select litigation, arbitration or mediation, and practise under UAE onshore law, Dubai’s DIFC framework or Abu Dhabi’s ADGM framework. The initial case library includes commercial, civil and labour disputes, such as a supply contract breach, construction defects claim and unfair dismissal case.

According to the company, AI witnesses have defined backgrounds, professions and behaviours, while trainees receive post-session scores covering argumentation, procedural compliance and objection handling. Sessions are recorded for review, and a licensed practitioner can lead and assess a hearing live.

Students can create free Legaline accounts, while the platform is being offered to law schools and legal training providers across the region. Meta Legal Space joins Legaline’s AI tutor and research assistant, which covers 35 legal areas.
