Egypt’s Turuq Raises Undisclosed Seed Round From Den VC

Egyptian e-commerce logistics startup Turuq has raised a seed round backed by Den VC, with the funding amount undisclosed.

Founded in 2023 by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal, Turuq provides online retailers with inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment, packing and shipping through a single platform. Its technology supports shipment tracking, order allocation and delivery coordination.

The company said it will use the investment to strengthen its technology infrastructure, expand fulfillment capacity, improve internal processes and grow its teams. Turuq also plans to increase its warehouse network to five locations over the next year while keeping its focus on Egypt.

The startup currently handles between 75,000 and 100,000 orders per month and aims to double that volume within four months, according to CEO and co-founder Ahmed Atta. It serves more than 100 active merchants and has worked with around 300 merchants since launch.

Turuq operates a micro-fulfillment model, using multiple smaller warehouses rather than large facilities. Its current operations are concentrated in Cairo and Giza, with the company prioritizing broader coverage in Egypt before pursuing direct expansion into other markets.

The investment follows Turuq’s participation in the InvestIT program, run by Flat6Labs in partnership with ITIDA and TIEC.
