Cairo will host the third edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival from November 6 to 8, 2026, bringing together more than 10,000 participants from over 70 countries.
The event is expected to include more than 100 exhibitors and around 60 international speakers, including government leaders and experts in economics and investment, according to the announcement.
Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom held a meeting to review preparations for the festival. Participants included representatives from the festival, the National Alliance for Civil and Developmental Work, the Prime Minister’s entrepreneurship adviser, the Administrative Capital company and the Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center.
Rostom said the event reflects Egypt’s regional position in entrepreneurship across the Middle East and Africa. He also highlighted the role of startups in supporting economic growth, addressing development challenges and attracting venture capital.
The festival is also expected to support Cairo’s positioning as a destination for business events and a platform for cross-border partnerships and investment. Organisers said the gathering has attracted strong interest from entrepreneurs and startups across Africa, with coordination continuing between the festival team and the Egyptian government.
