Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship (GIE) and Startup Egypt have announced a collaboration to help Egyptian companies and entrepreneurs explore expansion opportunities across GCC markets.
Announced in Dubai, the partnership is intended to improve access to regional business networks, potential partners and other stakeholders. According to the announcement, the two organisations will support companies in identifying growth opportunities, building business relationships and sharing knowledge about GCC markets.
The collaboration will also connect innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in Egypt and the GCC, with a focus on creating new channels for networking, partnerships and regional growth.
Eng. Mohamed Aboud, chairman and co-founder of GIE, said the partnership would help build practical links between companies and markets and improve Egyptian companies’ access to the GCC business ecosystem.
Dr. Magdy Ghoneima, chairman of the board of trustees at Startup Egypt, said the collaboration would create additional routes for Egyptian entrepreneurs and businesses to explore regional expansion.
The initiative reflects a broader effort by both organisations to strengthen ties between Egypt, the UAE and GCC markets.
