HyperPay Deploys Mozn’s AML Platform to Support Saudi Growth

Mozn has deployed its compliance and anti-money laundering platform at HyperPay, a Middle East and North Africa fintech and digital payments company, the companies announced in Riyadh on September 15, 2026.

According to the announcement, the platform has reduced false-positive alerts and the average time needed to process alerts, while supporting compliance with Saudi Central Bank requirements for combating money laundering and terrorist financing.

The system combines artificial intelligence and natural language processing with Mozn’s Arabic name-matching engine. It is designed to handle variations in spelling and transliteration across thousands of merchants and beneficial owners. Its monitoring rules are aligned with payment-sector risks identified by the Saudi Central Bank, including transaction structuring, the use of small transactions to conceal activity and sanctions risks.

The deployment comes as HyperPay expands its merchant base and digital payments products. The companies said the platform is designed to support higher transaction volumes, new products and additional payment channels without requiring a full rebuild of the compliance system.

Noura Al Mazyani, HyperPay’s chief compliance officer, said Mozn supported the rollout from configuration through launch. Mozn co-founder and deputy CEO Malik Al Yousuf said the partnership is intended to help financial and fintech companies scale compliance alongside product growth.
