U.S.-based business process outsourcing company InteLogix has launched operations in Egypt following its acquisition of Cairo-based Athear earlier this year.
The company opened its new headquarters in New Cairo, where it plans to provide customer experience, BPO and IT services to clients across the U.S. and Europe. The facility was inaugurated by Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
InteLogix has integrated Athear into its global delivery network and is building an AI-enabled operating hub in Egypt. The company said the new facility includes AI-powered infrastructure designed to support operational monitoring, service quality and multilingual delivery for international clients.
The company plans to gradually expand the range of services and markets served from Cairo, with its local workforce expected to grow from around 135 employees to 1,365 employees over the next three years.
The expansion comes as Egypt’s outsourcing sector continues to grow. According to ITIDA, the country generated $5.2B in offshoring export revenue in 2025, with 252 export-oriented companies employing more than 195,000 professionals.
InteLogix currently operates delivery centres across the U.S., Canada, El Salvador, the Philippines and Egypt, providing services including customer experience, receivables management, managed cybersecurity and collections.
