In late September 2026, EduMatch LB officially launched to address a pressing challenge for families navigating the education system in Lebanon: finding qualified and trustworthy private tutors. Built by a Lebanese student founder, the platform replaces the chaotic landscape of social media groups with a streamlined, verified marketplace for educational support.
Replacing Social Media Chaos With Verified Trust
Before the launch of EduMatch LB, finding a tutor in Lebanon typically happened in crowded Facebook groups, where a single post from a parent could generate dozens of unverified phone numbers in the comments. To address this lack of reliability, every teacher’s identity and profile on EduMatch LB is checked by hand before they are listed. The internal review process scrutinizes the educator’s ID, contact details, educational background, and supporting credentials to ensure credibility before the profile goes live to the public.
A Direct And Transparent Model
The platform is currently home to over 95 verified teachers who have already assisted more than 223 students across the country. The subject offerings span from Grade 1 math to university-level physics, as well as specialized preparation like SAT and IELTS, alongside extracurricular activities such as music and programming. Parents can easily filter the database by subject, educational level, and location across regions including Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the South, the Bekaa, and the North. Crucially, the platform displays the teacher’s hourly rate upfront and allows families to message the educator directly on WhatsApp. The service is entirely free for families to use, while teachers pay a subscription fee to be listed, retaining 100% of their earnings with zero commission taken on the lessons.
