Luxor’s Directorate of Youth and Sports has opened registration for the “Be a Creative Entrepreneur” initiative, a 20-day program designed to help young people develop innovative ideas into viable businesses.

The initiative is being delivered by the directorate’s Youth Empowerment Department in cooperation with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. It will run from October 25 to November 16, combining in-person sessions with online training through Microsoft Teams.

According to the announcement, participants will receive training in entrepreneurship and innovation, while their ideas will be assessed by specialist committees. The program will also connect participants with supporting organisations and investors, and provide follow-up assistance after the training.

The five strongest projects nationwide will be selected for financial support to help turn their ideas into operational businesses.

Applicants must be aged 20 to 35 and have a clear business idea in an industrial, agricultural, commercial or technology field. University graduates are preferred. Male applicants must provide proof of their military service status, and all participants must commit to full-time attendance during the program.
