Jordanian fintech company MadfoatCom has launched the MadfoatCom Innovation Hub, a platform designed to support collaboration and experimentation across the country’s digital finance and digital economy ecosystem.
The hub will bring together startups, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, technology providers, researchers, regulators and other ecosystem partners to develop, test and scale solutions addressing real market challenges, according to the company.
MadfoatCom said the initiative will offer access to industry expertise, partnerships, infrastructure and pilot opportunities. Its focus areas include digital payments, fintech, financial inclusion, open and embedded finance, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital identity, regulatory technology and SME enablement.
The hub’s programmes will cover innovation challenges, proof-of-concept and pilot projects, ecosystem collaboration, research and thought leadership, as well as workshops and events. Participants will move through an application, evaluation, discovery, and pilot or scale process.
MadfoatCom said the hub builds on its experience operating eFAWATEERcom, Jordan’s national electronic bill payment platform, and aims to connect innovators with financial institutions, government entities and industry partners.
