Oman’s OQ Accelerator has launched the pre-accelerator track of its third cohort, selecting 37 teams to participate in the program.
More than 120 startups submitted ideas and solutions focused on the oil and gas sector before the final teams were selected for the bootcamp.
The program is being delivered with aljabr, which works with startups and corporates across venture building, innovation and investment.
During the first day of the bootcamp, participating teams worked with OQ experts to validate their ideas, better understand industry challenges and assess how closely their proposed solutions match real operational needs.
On the second day, startups continued developing their concepts and preparing pitch decks before presenting their solutions. Selected startups will move forward into the full pre-accelerator program.
The third cohort continues OQ Accelerator’s work to identify and support startups developing technologies and solutions relevant to the energy and oil and gas sectors in Oman.
