  • Funding: Backed by the EU’s Erasmus+ program
  • Mission: Connect academia with cosmetics and pharma industries

Connecting Theory with Market Demand

The new center was established to address the gap between theoretical education and the practical requirements of Egypt’s growing cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors. Its primary goal is to equip students and graduates with the professional and entrepreneurial skills needed to compete in both local and international job markets.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, and attended by the university’s former president, Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab. The project’s implementation was overseen by university leadership, including Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Safwat Abdel Maqsoud, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, with Dr. Nihal Lotfi serving as the project coordinator.

Equipping the Next Generation of Founders

Funded through the COSMO project’s budget, the center is outfitted with advanced technical equipment and machinery. This creates an integrated training environment designed to support direct professional work and innovation. Participants will gain hands-on experience in managing cosmetic and pharmaceutical projects, preparing them to build and lead ventures in these specialized fields. The initiative reinforces the university’s role in developing a qualified workforce capable of driving entrepreneurship in medical and beauty-related industries.
