Tunisia’s Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly will launch a national initiative on August 10, 2026, to create a unified support pathway for women entrepreneurs, from the initial idea through post-launch growth.

The initiative will run across all governorates and target women and girls with ideas or existing projects, as well as those seeking to start or develop businesses. Support spaces will provide guidance on project development, financing, mentoring, assistance and marketing.

Running from August 2026 to August 2027, the program will extend to all delegations nationwide. It aims to bring together support, mentoring and financing organisations, improve access to information about available programs, and make those services easier to reach for women and girls across the country, according to the announcement.

The launch will take place simultaneously at locations including the integrated youth and childhood centre in Hay El Khadra in Tunis, Ben Arous Municipality, the youth centre in Menzel Temime, the cultural centre Assad Ibn El Fourat in Kairouan, and the regional computer centre for children in Medenine. Events are also scheduled in the remaining governorates.
