The UAE government’s Artificial Intelligence Office and Microsoft have launched UAE Vibe Codes, a platform that lets people create website and app prototypes by describing ideas in plain language.
The initiative was introduced on 29 October as part of UAE Codes Day. According to the AI Office, 5,000 people signed up within the first hour.
Users do not need prior programming experience. They can propose a workplace solution, daily task app, startup tool or educational resource, then test and refine the AI-generated prototype.
The initiative is open to people across the UAE, including students, educators, entrepreneurs, business owners and employees in government and private companies. The AI Office said the programme aims to broaden access to AI tools, build confidence in developing digital solutions and support digital-economy skills.
Participating organisations include the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Justice, UAE Space Agency, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Emirates Health Services, Etisalat UAE, du and Emirates NBD. Workshops are also being held with Google, Emirates Global Aluminium, Siemens and IBM.
