UAE-based data and AI company CNTXT AI has announced its acquisition of Actualize, an enterprise AI firm specializing in dialect-aware Arabic voice agents for the GCC. The deal integrates Actualize’s technology and engineering team into CNTXT AI, significantly boosting its capabilities in creating sovereign AI agents that can execute tasks for enterprise and government clients, not just respond to queries.
Quick Facts
- CNTXT AI acquires enterprise AI firm Actualize.
- Focus on dialect-aware Arabic voice AI agents.
- Founders of Actualize join CNTXT AI’s leadership team.
A Strategic Move for Sovereign Arabic AI
The acquisition combines CNTXT AI’s sovereign AI products, like its Arabic voice platform Munsit, with Actualize’s advanced voice technology. Actualize brings expertise in Arabic voice automation and conversational AI, with models built natively for regional dialects that are recognized for their natural-sounding output.
This integration aims to provide a more streamlined path for organizations to move from raw data to fully operational, production-grade Arabic AI systems. CNTXT AI will provide the foundational training data and deployment tools, while Actualize adds the ultra-realistic voice models and the agent layer that allows these systems to complete tasks across voice, chat, and internal workflows.
“Together, we offer enterprises and government entities Arabic voice agents that can be deployed securely, hosted in-region, and embedded directly into day-to-day operations,” said Hassan Abu Sheikh, Co-Founder of CNTXT AI.
Tapping a Growing GCC AI Market
The combined offering targets the rapidly expanding GCC conversational AI market, which is projected to grow from approximately $400 million in 2025 to nearly $2.5 billion by 2034. This growth reflects accelerating investment from regional organizations in AI-driven services.
“This acquisition strengthens CNTXT AI’s mission to build sovereign AI that works in the real world,” said Mohammad Abu Sheikh, CEO of CNTXT AI. “Actualize brings technology that turns Arabic voice AI into agents that can complete tasks, voice models that make interactions sound natural and human, and a team that understands how Arabic is actually spoken in this region.”
New Leadership to Drive AI Innovation
The acquisition also brings key talent into CNTXT AI’s fold. Actualize was founded in 2023 by Muhammed Shabreen and Khalid Ghiboub, both engineers with experience at global tech companies like Google and Nokia. Following the deal, Muhammed Shabreen will join CNTXT AI as its new Chief Technology Officer, while Khalid Ghiboub will take on the role of VP of AI Models.
“AI is entering a new era where trust, localization, and real-world impact matter just as much as capability,” said Muhammed Shabreen. “Together with CNTXT AI, we are building Arabic AI infrastructure at native depth combining sovereign deployments, explainable systems, and foundational technologies to help shape the future of AI across the MENA region.”
