Egyptian social enterprise Entreprenelle has launched the 11th edition of its flagship event, “SHE CAN Mega 2026,” at the Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza. Held under the slogan “IF SHE CAN’T, WHO CAN?”, the two-day gathering aims to support women in entrepreneurship and professional development, backed by major public and private sector partners including Germany’s GIZ, ITIDA, the National Council for Women, and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.
Quick Facts
- 11th edition of MENA’s largest women’s entrepreneurship event.
- Focused on skills development, networking, and professional growth.
- Strong emphasis on inclusivity and equal opportunity for all participants.
A Platform for Skills and Networking
The event’s two-day agenda was built around three main stages and a wide array of interactive workshops and sessions. The program was designed to meet the needs of attendees across different career paths and entrepreneurial stages, focusing on practical skill development and expanding professional networks. The format was structured to encourage open learning, experience sharing, and the formation of valuable professional connections.
Championing Inclusivity and Equal Opportunity
This year’s event featured a significant partnership with the “Equal Opportunities and Social Development” project, implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Egypt. The project team managed the third stage of the event and participated across other sessions to reinforce themes of inclusion.
In his opening remarks, Adham Kassab, Manager of the Equal Opportunities and Social Development project, stressed the need to move beyond simple access to genuine, impactful participation in public life and the job market. He highlighted the importance of integrating youth into the digital age and the role of institutions in creating more inclusive pathways that ensure fair opportunities.
The project team, including technical advisors Dina Hamed, Mahmoud Effat, Amira El-Sawarby, Nada Abdel-Hay, and Shaimaa Ibrahim, worked to embed accessibility into the event’s design. This ranged from physical space planning to ensuring balanced representation on panels, reinforcing that people with disabilities are active partners in building a more inclusive future.
Public-Private Collaboration Drives Impact
SHE CAN Mega 2026 also showcased a strong collaborative model, bringing together development organizations and the private sector. Strategic partners included Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH-Egypt) and Beyti, an Almarai company. The event also saw participation from major tech players like TikTok MENA and DiDi, alongside MOUNT Communication, who contributed to the program’s content and experience.
“The SHE CAN 2026 event is an inspiring platform that connects ambition with opportunity,” said Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle. “We are continuing our commitment to empowering women and girls by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed for a changing job market. Although women’s participation in Egypt’s labor market rose to about 20.7% in 2025, there is still significant room for growth, which is what we are working on by building an integrated system that supports women economically.”
