The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) and the Department of Government Enablement are preparing to launch an AI Judicial Platform, which they describe as the world’s first integrated system of its kind for judicial work.
The platform will support judicial and legal decision-making across the full judicial workflow, with all AI outputs subject to human supervision and validation. The project is intended to modernise court operations, streamline procedures and support the accuracy and consistency of judicial processes, according to the announcement.
The first phase is expected to begin in September 2026, followed by a phased implementation over 18 months. A joint steering committee chaired by Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, is overseeing the rollout.
