Orange Jordan has announced the three winners of the 10th local edition of its Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in Jordan, with the winning projects focused on renewable energy, artificial intelligence and clean-energy access.
Thirteen of the 162 applicants presented their projects to the jury. Tareq Hamdan took first place and JD 4,000 for Iris, which develops solar and wind solutions designed to reduce energy costs and reliance on traditional sources.
Muath Al-Hasan won second place and JD 2,500 for SYNIRO, a project using artificial intelligence and smart technologies to support road safety and healthcare. Yara Al-Siddiq placed third, receiving JD 1,500 for PowerBlocks, which aims to make clean energy more accessible, efficient and scalable.
The three winners will advance to the international edition later this year, competing with entrepreneurs from 17 countries where Orange operates across the Middle East and Africa.
Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour said the award’s 10-year local run reflects the company’s commitment to supporting Jordanian youth and their ability to create social impact. The ceremony also recognised the jury members who evaluated the projects.
