Entlaq will hold the fourth edition of its Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Annual Report Summit, SDR 2026, in El Gouna from September 10 to 12, 2026.
Held under the theme “Data × Innovation: Reimagining Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Landscape,” the summit is expected to bring together more than 500 government representatives, investors, venture funds, entrepreneurs and experts. The event is being held under the sponsorship of Egypt’s Cabinet and several ministries, according to the announcement.
SDR 2026 will introduce a “Live Data Intelligence” experience in partnership with arqam. The initiative will give participants access to real-time data and indicators related to Egypt’s startup sector, with the aim of supporting market analysis and investment decisions.
The summit is also set to include international investors representing more than $35B in assets under management, alongside over 15 regional and local funds and seven international development and finance institutions. Participating funds include TLcom Capital, UM6P Ventures, VentureSouq, Golden Gate Ventures, Launch Africa Ventures, Jedar Capital, Palm Ventures and Orbit Ventures (SOSV).
El Gouna is hosting the summit for the second consecutive year. The event will focus on investment trends, growth sectors and opportunities for Egyptian startups to connect with regional and international investors.
