Egyptian financial services company Caishny processed transactions worth EGP 600 million during the first half of 2026 and plans to expand its network to 130 outlets across the country by year-end.
The company currently operates 110 branches across 17 governorates, including 86 outlets located within traffic units. It aims to expand to 21 governorates, with a particular focus on Upper Egypt.
Ahmed Saeed, a board member at Caishny, said the company processes around 4,000 transactions daily. Its services include issuing, activating and topping up bank cards within minutes, in cooperation with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr.
Caishny records monthly transaction value of around EGP 100 million, according to Saeed. The company also operates service points within several government entities, including the Civil Status Sector, the Ministries of Defense, Justice and Transport, as well as investment, local development and passport-related sectors.
Saeed said Caishny is working to reduce reliance on cash through digital marketing and awareness campaigns that encourage customers to use official, licensed financial channels. He added that the company expects Egypt’s digital payments sector to continue growing as the country advances its digital transformation agenda.
