Egyptian healthcare startup Anees Health has closed a seed funding round of undisclosed value to expand its integrated care model across Greater Cairo.
Founded in 2025, the company coordinates medical and support services throughout a patient’s care journey, from initial assessment through stabilisation and follow-up. Its model combines geriatric and family medicine with nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, diagnostics and hospital referrals under a single care plan.
Anees Health said it has delivered more than 1,000 medical and care services since launch, with around 70% of patients continuing on extended care plans after their first visit. Its in-house electronic health record is built on the HL7 FHIR standard and supports Arabic and English documentation.
The company serves older adults, people living with chronic conditions, and patients recovering from illness or undergoing rehabilitation. It also offers longevity programmes focused on maintaining physical and cognitive function.
The funding will support the expansion of its clinical and care coordination teams, operational and clinical infrastructure, coverage across Greater Cairo, and post-discharge coordination with partner hospitals. Anees Health aims to build capacity for more than 20,000 visits in 2027.
Entrepreneur Ebrahem Anwar has also joined the company as a strategic advisor. According to the announcement, he brings more than 15 years of business development experience and has co-founded six companies.
