Panic Zones, a Dubai-based card game company founded by four Lebanese entrepreneurs, has sold more than 5,000 units of its debut title, Panic Zones: Arctic Edition, since launching in December 2025.
The survival-themed party game was designed, developed and manufactured by a MENA-based team. It supports four to six players, who compete to survive a series of frozen-world events or become the first to get rescued.
The company was started by AUB-connected friends Patrick Saber, Anthony Attieh, Ryan Chedrawi and Edmond Rizk. The founders spent around two years developing the game and conducted more than 600 playtests before its release.
According to the announcement, Arctic Edition has sold across the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, mainly through retail partners and e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Noon. The game has also received an Amazon Best Seller tag.
The founders said their broader goal is to build original intellectual property in the region that can reach international markets, rather than bringing overseas games into MENA.
Panic Zones plans to exhibit at SPIEL Essen in Germany in late October 2026 and attend Tabletop ME in November. A second title is expected around November 2026, while the team prepares to enter the UK and US markets.
