US-headquartered adtech startup Journify has raised $12 million in Series A funding at four times its previous valuation. Al Mada Ventures led the round, co-led by existing investor Silicon Badia.
Shorooq and Bunat Ventures increased their investments, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors. Founded in 2022 by Taoufik El Jamali, Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify is headquartered in San Francisco and has offices in Dubai and Riyadh.
The company’s advertising data infrastructure connects customer interactions and sales data across online and offline channels. Journify said more than 100 businesses use its platform, including Jarir Bookstore and Baytonia, and that revenue has grown more than fivefold since Silicon Badia’s initial investment.
The startup will use the funding to expand in the US and Europe and strengthen its AI capabilities for monitoring, detecting and resolving advertising data quality issues. Journify said its platform helps ad networks use purchase, sign-up and store sales data to improve campaign performance.
