The University of Sharjah has concluded the UAE Alumni Entrepreneurship Forum 2026, showcasing 15 projects developed by its students and graduates in Sharjah, UAE.
Organised by the university’s Alumni Association Center as part of Higher Education Entrepreneurship Week, the forum highlighted innovative ideas, products, services and solutions. It also aimed to connect project founders with government bodies and private-sector organisations to explore potential partnerships.
The week was launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism. The event brought together entrepreneurs from the university community, along with representatives from government entities and entrepreneurship-support organisations.
The project exhibition ran for a week and gave participating founders an opportunity to present their ventures, receive exposure and discuss cooperation with relevant institutions. The programme also included the announcement of a graduate identity design competition, recognition of partners and supporters, and a short entrepreneurship-themed play presented by Quarter Century Foundation for Leadership and Innovators.
According to the announcement, the forum was designed to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship culture in higher education and help students and graduates turn ideas developed in the classroom into practical ventures.
