The C3 EmpowerHer program has launched with 31 women-centered climate adaptation ventures selected from hundreds of applications across Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Palestine and Algeria.
The cohort covers food and agri-climate, water and sanitation, nature-based solutions, and climate-resilient infrastructure.
Over the coming months, founders will participate in expert-led workshops, mentorship and peer exchanges focused on strengthening their adaptation solutions and business models. The top 10 ventures will move into validation pilots ahead of a Demo Day in Egypt.
C3 EmpowerHer is funded by the Resilient Futures Fund, managed by 2X Global and supported by Amazon, Reckitt, Skoll Foundation, UPS Foundation and Visa Foundation.
