Anthropic has filed for an initial public offering with plans to list under the ticker “ANT,” marking a major step toward a closely watched public debut.
The AI company reported $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier, according to its latest filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Its operating loss narrowed to $693 million from $2.1 billion, while its net loss reached $80.7 billion, largely due to noncash accounting adjustments tied to convertible debt.
Anthropic said it had more than 11,900 customers spending at least $100,000 annually as of September 30. More than 1,900 spent at least $1 million, while around 250 spent $10 million or more.
The filing highlights the company’s strategy of expanding customers from its Claude platform into products such as Claude Code and Cowork. More than half of customers spending at least $100,000 annually now use both the platform and a first-party application, up from about 30% at the end of last year.
Anthropic’s seven co-founders will collectively control 50.1% of shareholder voting power through the Founder LLC. Its Long-Term Benefit Trust will also be able to appoint most of the board.
The company has not disclosed how much it plans to raise or the proposed share price.
