Bahrain’s Labour Fund, Tamkeen, has signed an MoU with EY MENA to establish a talent hub in the Kingdom, with plans to create 125 jobs for Bahrainis over three years.

The programme is scheduled to run from 2027 to 2029 and will focus on fresh graduates and new entrants to the labour market. It will prepare candidates for roles in audit, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions.

According to the announcement, the hub will also develop skills in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, sustainability and financial services. It is expected to support EY clients in Bahrain and across the wider MENA region.

Tamkeen said the initiative is designed to create high-quality employment opportunities and align Bahraini talent with demand in growing sectors. EY MENA said the programme will provide practical experience and capabilities for professionals adapting to changing technology and business needs.

The initiative forms part of Tamkeen’s 2026 priorities, which include improving private-sector competitiveness, aligning skills with labour-market needs and supporting innovation-driven economic development in Bahrain.
