Innovation Program Overview
SEU Velocity is an intensive 7-day innovation program designed by the Saudi Electronic University to empower innovators in the sports technology sector. Participants will develop their ideas into applicable solutions within a supportive environment, guided by experts. The program is structured in two phases: a 4-day remote session for idea development and a 3-day in-person final in Riyadh for qualified teams to refine their projects and pitch to a judging committee.

Participants in the SEU Velocity program will receive:

Winning teams will be awarded the following cash prizes:
- First Place: SAR 50,000
- Second Place: SAR 30,000
- Third Place: SAR 20,000
Challenge Tracks
Applicants should propose solutions that address challenges in one of the following areas:
- Sports Infrastructure & Facilities: Solutions for facility management, booking, ticketing, and operational efficiency.
- Talent Discovery & Sponsorship: Tools for scouting talent, player registration, and performance evaluation.
- Athlete Development: Technologies for monitoring athlete performance and health, training, and injury rehabilitation.
- Fan Engagement: Innovations to enhance the fan experience, from digital ticketing to loyalty programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an individual or a team of up to 5 members.
- Have an early-stage idea or project in the sports technology field that addresses one of the program’s tracks.
- Commit to attending all days of the hybrid program (both remote and in-person sessions if qualified).
- The program is open to participants from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
