- Trained 23 entrepreneurs and aspiring founders
- Focused on business planning, marketing, and finance
- Program led by Dr. Majda Al-Shazly
A Practical Framework for New Ventures
The five-day program was structured to provide 23 participants, who were selected after a series of interviews and qualifying tests, with a practical toolkit for building and scaling their businesses. The curriculum focused on essential business fundamentals, including strategic planning, marketing, and financial management.
Through a series of interactive workshops, training games, and hands-on exercises, participants learned how to develop actionable business plans and transform their initial ideas into viable projects. The training also equipped them with tools for securing funding and ensuring the long-term sustainable management of their enterprises.
A Collaborative Push for Economic Empowerment
The initiative was executed in collaboration with Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) and the International Labour Organization (ILO). This partnership underscores a coordinated effort to build the capacity of female entrepreneurs and better prepare them to enter the market, create job opportunities, and improve overall productivity.
