Jameel Saudi Arabia and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) have signed a cooperation agreement to support technology companies, entrepreneurs and innovators in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement was signed at the LEAP 2026 stage at the Malham Events Center in Riyadh. It aims to expand access to the programs, services and initiatives offered by both organisations, while encouraging knowledge exchange, mentoring and collaboration on joint events and initiatives.
The partnership will also introduce entrepreneurs to NTDP support products, including its Initial Product Development Support product, which provides grants and services subject to applicable conditions and criteria, according to the announcement.
The cooperation covers entrepreneurship programs supported by Jameel Saudi Arabia, including the StartSmart Saudi competition, the Jameel Deep Tech initiative and the StartSmart Universities Challenge. These programs are intended to help founders develop their ideas and improve their readiness for growth and expansion.
Mai Taibah, vice chair of Jameel Saudi Arabia, said the agreement would broaden the opportunities and services available to entrepreneurs and strengthen coordination across the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Mohammed Abdulghaffar, the foundation’s executive director of initiatives, said closer cooperation between government entities and private-sector organisations would help startups access expertise, resources and programs supporting their development.
