Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development has opened applications for NEXUS, an AI-focused incubation program for Emirati founders at Abu Dhabi’s Muzn Hub.

The program will select 30 startups and is free to join, with no fees or equity transfer to Khalifa Fund. Founders retain ownership of their companies and intellectual property.

NEXUS offers entrepreneurship and AI workshops, practical sessions, weekly reviews, individual advisory hours, specialised mentorship and access to companies, government entities and investors. It includes two tracks: Building With AI, focused on using AI tools to improve operations and execution, and Building AI, for startups developing AI-based products.

Participants will receive tailored roadmaps at the beginning and end of the program. Up to five startups may also be selected to attend the Silicon Valley Summit in California, subject to readiness and selection criteria.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, live in Abu Dhabi and have a startup that is at least 51% Emirati-owned. The venture must have a clear idea, working prototype or viable initial product, as well as a scalable business model. The program is open to first-time founders.

Applications will be assessed on factors including team strength, market opportunity, product readiness, business model and innovation potential. The deadline is September 20, 2026.
