Saudi Arabia’s Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS) has signed an agreement with HUMAIN to expand a project for designing and building data centers dedicated to artificial intelligence technologies, increasing its targeted capacity from 50MW to 250MW.
Signed on September 19, 2026, the agreement is valued at more than 689% of MIS’ 2025 revenue, which translates to more than SAR 8.7 billion including VAT. The company did not disclose a separate final contract value.
The additional 200MW will be delivered in phases. MIS will handle engineering, procurement and construction, with HUMAIN issuing work orders progressively. The financial impact will begin when those orders are received, and will depend on the value and duration of each work package.
The new agreement replaces the earlier contract announced in March 2026, while MIS said it does not affect the value, progress or financial impact of the previously announced work.
MIS’ scope covers the project’s infrastructure, rather than computing equipment such as GPUs and servers. The company said the project is financed through a combination of bank facilities and milestone-based customer collections, with land and power secured and available.
The expansion strengthens MIS’ position in Saudi Arabia’s data center market as HUMAIN builds out AI infrastructure in the Kingdom.
