Orange Jordan, in partnership with Capital Bank and the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (intaj), has announced the four winners of its fifth annual “Inspiring Change” Award. The initiative, which supports women-led startups in the country, recognized innovative projects spanning healthtech, fintech, edtech, and sustainable solutions, underlining a commitment to fostering female entrepreneurship within Jordan’s tech ecosystem.

Healthtech AI and Edtech VR Take Top Prizes
The first-place prize was awarded to SpinSight, a healthtech project using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve spinal diagnostics and provide personalized recommendations. The win highlights the growing application of deep tech in Jordan’s healthcare sector.
Following in second place was OIA, a project that utilizes Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to create interactive educational methods for children with disabilities.
Fintech and Sustainability Solutions Recognized
In the fintech space, Payknit secured third place for its work on simplifying cross-border payment solutions. The award for the best sustainable solution, a new category this year, went to “Our Environment.” The project is developing a smart recycling system built on Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs).
Fostering a More Inclusive Digital Ecosystem
The “Inspiring Change” Award aims to provide a platform for women entrepreneurs and help scale their ideas into competitive projects. Since its inception in 2022, the program has attracted 482 participants and recognized 17 winners.
Philippe Mansour, CEO of Orange Jordan, stated that the award “reflects the company’s strong commitment to empowering women and advancing their role in the digital landscape,” noting its tangible impact on creating a more inclusive and innovative digital ecosystem in the Kingdom.
Tamer Ghazaleh, CEO of Capital Bank, added, “The innovative digital projects we’ve seen today reflect a new mindset, one that views innovation as a tool for building a more inclusive and sustainable future.”
Fadi Qutaishat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of intaj, emphasized that the award aligns with the national direction of empowering women in technology. “The projects showcased in the fifth edition underline the ability of women entrepreneurs to develop impactful solutions that respond to market needs and achieve tangible results,” he noted.
