Saudi Arabia has secured the top position in the MENA region in the StartupBlink 2026 startup ecosystem index, marking a significant milestone in its regional and global entrepreneurial ambitions. The Kingdom also ranked first among G20 nations for startup ecosystem growth and led the region in both the overall startup environment and artificial intelligence technologies.
The latest report, which analyzes startup ecosystems in over 120 countries and 1,500 cities, saw Saudi Arabia jump ten places to rank 28th globally. This climb is attributed to an evolving regulatory environment, increased investment activity, and a surge in entrepreneurial drive, largely propelled by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 agenda.
