Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Islamic to expand access to financing and banking services for businesses in Dubai.
Under the agreement, members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce will be able to access Shariah-compliant banking products, trade finance, cash management and corporate financing solutions.
The partnership is intended to help companies improve operational efficiency, access capital and support expansion plans. The two organisations will also work together on seminars, workshops and business forums focused on financial awareness and private-sector growth.
Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said the agreement supports the organisation’s efforts to give companies tools and services for growth.
Vivek Shah, Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking at Emirates Islamic, said the collaboration would create more growth opportunities for businesses while supporting the bank’s focus on ethical, customer-led financing.
The partnership comes as Dubai continues to develop support for companies operating in the emirate, with access to finance remaining important for investment, expansion and productivity.
