Tunisia’s Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly is holding the second edition of its national initiative to support women entrepreneurs from idea stage through post-launch growth.
The initiative’s second phase will take place on September 25 across 20 sites in the country, in coordination with regional women and family affairs offices and public institutions involved in entrepreneurship support.
The participating locations will offer guidance on project development, financing, mentoring, business support and marketing. The program is aimed at women and girls seeking to launch, expand or develop businesses.
According to the ministry, the initiative began on August 10, 2026 and will run for one year, through August 10, 2027. It is designed to bring support and financing services closer to women in different districts, improve access to information and connect the institutions involved in assisting women-led projects.
The 20 locations include sites in Tunis, Ariana, Ben Arous, Manouba, Bizerte, Jendouba, Siliana, Zaghouan, Nabeul, Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia, Sfax, Kairouan, Sidi Bouzid, Kasserine, Gabes, Gafsa and Tataouine.
