Zain Kuwait and LOYAC have concluded the first cohort of the 11th season of Kun, a social entrepreneurship program that brought together 34 secondary school students to develop solutions to environmental and social challenges.

The two-week program combined workshops, practical training and mentoring in social entrepreneurship, prototype design, public speaking and pitching. Participants worked in teams to turn issues they observed in their communities into projects and early-stage prototypes.

Training took place at LOYAC’s Aisha School building, followed by a closing ceremony at Shadi Al Khalij Theatre. The students later presented their projects to the public at The Avenues mall.

Kun targets students aged 12 to 16 and is delivered by LOYAC in partnership with Babson College, which is known for its work in management and entrepreneurship education. The company said the program is part of its broader partnership with LOYAC, now in its 23rd year, and aligns with its focus on education, youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.
