The Syrian entrepreneurial ecosystem marked a significant milestone with the conclusion of the “Launch Up 2025” program in Homs and Hama. Organized by Virtual Accelerate Prosperity – Syria, the program culminated in a Demo Day where participants pitched their ventures to a panel of experts and investors, showcasing a new wave of innovation from the two governorates.
A Showcase of Innovation in Homs and Hama
The Demo Day provided a critical platform for finalists to present their business models and entrepreneurial visions. Alongside the pitches, the event featured an interactive exhibition, allowing the startups to display their products and projects directly to the public and visiting attendees. This format facilitated direct networking opportunities between the founders, potential investors, and the wider business community.
Twelve Ventures Secure Support
Following the presentations, 12 winning projects were selected from both governorates to receive crucial support for their next stage of development. The funding was divided into two distinct categories: six projects were awarded financial grants, while the other six secured interest-free loans. This support provides a significant boost to help the ventures continue their journey toward growth and sustainability.
