HUMAIN Receives Latest NVIDIA AI Chips to Power National AI Ambitions

4 Min Read

HUMAIN, the global AI company launched by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has received its first shipment of the latest NVIDIA artificial intelligence (AI) GPU chips. The milestone, announced by CEO Tareq Amin, significantly enhances the company’s capacity to train and deploy large-scale AI models, accelerating its mission to establish world-class AI infrastructure.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Amin confirmed the arrival of the state-of-the-art hardware. “The team will be fully focused on rapid deployment, ensuring everything is up and running before the start of the new year,” he stated, emphasizing that the momentum reflects “ambition, execution, and a clear commitment to building world-class AI infrastructure at scale.”

A Leap in Sovereign AI Capabilities

The new NVIDIA AI GPU chips are essential for high-performance computing, enabling faster and more efficient training of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI systems. By securing early access to this cutting-edge technology, HUMAIN is positioning itself as a key player in the global sovereign AI landscape, directly supporting the economic diversification goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

This delivery is the first step in a major strategic partnership expansion with NVIDIA, which was announced in November. Under the agreement, HUMAIN plans to deploy up to 600,000 NVIDIA AI infrastructure units over the next three years, including the latest GB300 platforms.

Building a Global AI Ecosystem

As part of its partnership with NVIDIA, HUMAIN is developing advanced, NVIDIA-powered AI data centers within Saudi Arabia and expanding its footprint into the United States. This dual presence aims to create large-scale sovereign AI infrastructure capable of supporting complex model training, secure inference, and enterprise-level workloads.

The collaboration also extends to software and model development. HUMAIN will utilize NVIDIA Nemotron open models to train HUMAIN Chat, a conversational AI built on its proprietary ALLAM large language model, which is designed to serve over 400 million Arabic speakers worldwide.

Furthermore, HUMAIN is integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to advance its physical AI and digital-twin initiatives, targeting applications in critical sectors like energy, manufacturing, smart cities, and aviation.

Strategic Alliances for Scaled Infrastructure

To achieve its ambitious goals, HUMAIN has forged several key partnerships. The company is working with U.S.-based Global AI to develop large-scale AI data centers in the United States, utilizing NVIDIA’s GB300 infrastructure and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking.

In parallel, HUMAIN is collaborating with xAI to establish a network of data centers in Saudi Arabia, including a flagship facility exceeding 500 megawatts. This marks xAI’s first major large-scale deployment outside the U.S. and will support future training for its Grok models. The company has also expanded its alliance with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which will deploy and manage up to 150,000 NVIDIA GPUs within a dedicated AI Zone in Riyadh.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang commented on the collaboration, stating it positions Saudi Arabia as a major global AI hub and describing AI as “essential infrastructure” for every economy.
