Palestine’s Tzkrti Introduces New Fund To Empower Independent Arab Creatives

3 Min Read

Palestinian-founded online ticketing platform Tzkrti.com has launched the Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund, a new initiative designed to support grassroots artists, organisers, and creative spaces across the SWANA region and the Arab diaspora. The initiative aims to move beyond purely commercial activity by making a genuine investment in the region’s creative ecosystem.

Founded by Rogeh Khleif and Elias Khleif, Tzkrti was built to connect audiences with music, art, and cultural experiences, bridging the gap between the Arab world and its global diaspora of over 30 million people.

Fostering Grassroots Creativity

The Tzkrti Cultural Impact Fund will award two grants of $3,000 per project, twice a year. The fund targets bold and independent artistic, musical, and community-based initiatives that rarely receive institutional support. Eligible projects include those in music, live performances, festivals, cultural spaces, and multidisciplinary arts.

Significantly, the initiative is fully funded by Tzkrti, reflecting the company’s long-term vision to build and strengthen sustainable, independent cultural ecosystems.

A Mission-Driven Initiative

The fund was created to address the significant challenges faced by the cultural sector, which often relies on individual or donor funding.

Rogeh Khleif, Co-Founder and CEO of Tzkrti.com, stated, “We believe there is a responsibility on us as founders of Tzkrti to establish the Impact Fund to support independent artists, especially as we serve as a link between audiences and cultural practitioners. Our aim is to strengthen independent cultural initiatives so they can rise, thrive, and continue.”

Elias Khleif, Co-Founder of Tzkrti.com, added, “The idea behind founding Tzkrti was to make organising cultural activities accessible and easier. Our ultimate goal has always been to strengthen and build a free, independent Arab cultural scene and to provide grants and support to organisers, artists, and everyone contributing to the cultural field.”

Application Details And Future Vision

The application period for the fund’s pilot phase will run from 1 to 28 February 2026, with the first two winners set to be announced in early April. Projects will be selected by Tzkrti based on originality, community impact, and their contribution to the local cultural scene.

Each supported project will also be featured in Tzkrti Stories, a digital content series showcasing the artists and communities shaping Arab creativity. Looking ahead, Tzkrti plans to expand the programme to include public voting and advisory partnerships with regional and global cultural stakeholders.
