Sila, the France-Mediterranean initiative for artificial intelligence, has opened applications for 10 high-potential AI startups based in Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco or Tunisia.

Implemented by Expertise France and funded through the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs’ Équipe France + Fund, the initiative will provide tailored support for startups seeking to scale their technology, commercial operations and investment readiness.

Selected companies will receive a detailed needs assessment and an individual scaling roadmap, followed by access to strategic advice, technical AI expertise and specialised services. Support may cover MLOps, cloud and computing infrastructure, data engineering, cybersecurity, interoperability, data governance, regulatory compliance, internationalisation, team building and investment preparation.

Startups emerging from research can also receive guidance on intellectual property, technology transfer and moving from research to market. Each company will have access to an individual services budget of between €10,000 and €30,000, depending on its priorities, maturity, sector and local market.

Applications close on 14 September 2026 at 12:00 PM Paris time.
