Meta has launched Meta One, a subscription service that gives users expanded access to AI tools and premium features across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
The consumer plans cost $7.99 per month for Core and $19.99 for Premium. Both include features from Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus, while Premium offers higher AI usage limits. Meta has not disclosed the exact limits, saying they may vary by country, product and system conditions.
Subscribers can use Muse Image and Muse Video to create images and videos, edit Instagram Stories with the Restyle tool, and access voice effects and other creative features more frequently.
Meta also introduced plans for businesses and creators, starting at $14.99 per month for Essential, $49.99 for Advanced, $149 for Expert and $499 for Max. Features include expanded access to Meta Business Agent, verified WhatsApp Business profiles, impersonation detection, content scheduling, analytics and team account access. Pricing and availability may vary by region, app and account.
The launch follows Meta’s $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI in 2025. The company is also planning additional AI agent capabilities and an Edits Plus offering with more cloud storage and access to the Edits AI assistant.
According to Appfigures, Instagram’s average daily worldwide revenue reached $1.2 million during the week of September 9, while Facebook generated $528,000 per day. BNP Paribas estimates Meta’s subscription push could add $13.5 billion in revenue by 2028.
