Zeytoon Ventures has introduced Hakini as the first company in its portfolio, highlighting the startup’s tele-mental-health platform and its work across challenging care environments.
Hakini provides software that helps healthcare providers and institutions deliver, coordinate and manage mental-health services across different geographies. Its white-label model allows partners to offer the platform under their own brands and adapt it to local communities, workflows and care models.
The company’s platform supports teletherapy, self-help interventions and evidence-based exercises. According to the announcement, Hakini’s work is rooted in engagement with communities in Palestine and Gaza, with an approach that prioritizes context, trust and support networks alongside clinical care.
Zeytoon Ventures said it recently met Hakini founders Sondos Mleitat and Majd Manadre in person at Stanford. The meeting brought together clinicians, researchers, community practitioners and builders working in mental health, technology, group care and diaspora support.
The venture firm said it plans to support Hakini as it develops these relationships and expands its presence in the United States. Hakini is also seeking partnerships with clinicians, researchers, health-system leaders, community organizations and technology builders.
