Mansoura University will host the 7D Summit on entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence on November 21 and 22, 2026. The event is being organised by 7D HUB in strategic partnership with the university and is expected to draw up to 5,000 students, founders, technology professionals and investors.
The summit is designed to connect academic institutions with the technology and startup sectors, support talent in Egypt’s Delta region and help move innovative ideas toward investment opportunities.
Its programme will include more than 16 panel and discussion sessions, 20 practical workshops and over 10 specialised training courses. Other features include an investment café, B2B matchmaking sessions, a hackathon and AI-focused mentoring and advisory sessions.
Topics will cover fundraising, investment selection, AI applications across industries, startup-building challenges in Egypt and solo entrepreneurship. Organisers are targeting more than 100 speakers, including executives and investors from valU, Paymob, Shezlong, Rawmart, ReNile, Sabika, Sawari Ventures and GB Ventures.
Attendance is free for students and entrepreneurs, according to the announcement. The summit also aims to facilitate five direct connections between Delta-based startups and investors, with investment discussions expected to begin within six months.
