Beyon Connect and Omani technology company PhazeRo have signed a memorandum of understanding to pursue digital trust opportunities in Oman and across the wider GCC.

The agreement was signed during Gateway Gulf 2026 in Bahrain, held on November 1 and 2, and provides a framework for the companies to jointly explore secure digital identity, electronic know-your-customer (eKYC) and other trusted digital services.

The companies will initially focus on opportunities in Oman, while assessing potential applications in other GCC markets. The collaboration combines PhazeRo’s expertise in AI, data science and software engineering with Beyon Connect’s experience in digital identity and trusted digital services.

A key focus will be Beyon Connect’s OneID platform, which supports secure identity verification and authentication and can be adapted to different organisational and market requirements. According to the announcement, the platform could support governments and businesses delivering secure digital services.

Beyon Connect is part of Beyon Group, while PhazeRo was founded by Masoud Al Rawahi, who is also its CEO.
