C3 – Companies Creating Change and HSBC have selected 27 initiatives from 13 countries for the inaugural C3 Nature Impact Accelerator.
The cohort was chosen from more than 150 applications submitted by organisations in 37 countries. The selected initiatives represent the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Türkiye, India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
They cover four areas: dryland and desert ecosystems, with 12 initiatives; wetland and freshwater ecosystems, with eight; forest and woodland ecosystems, with six; and urban nature and heat resilience, with one.
According to C3, 73% of the selected initiatives have at least one female founder. During the accelerator’s first phase, participants will take part in expert-led learning, peer exchange and networking with practitioners working across the nature-positive ecosystem.
The Dubai-based impact platform said the cohort reflects growing interest in solutions focused on ecosystem restoration, community resilience and climate impact.
