Kuwait Finance House Egypt and Entreprenelle have launched a new phase of the SHEGPT program to help Egyptian women build digital skills for freelancing, entrepreneurship and small-business management.
The initiative is sponsored by Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities and the Qaderoon Be Ekhtelaf Fund. It focuses on financial inclusion and the use of digital tools, including artificial intelligence applications, to support women’s economic participation.
The program supported more than 9,000 participants and beneficiaries through various activities and initiatives in 2026. It also provided direct training to 300 women on using AI tools to develop their businesses and improve their professional opportunities.
Since the partnership began, SHEGPT has reached hundreds of women and girls across Egypt’s governorates, providing practical knowledge in areas such as business planning, financial decision-making and project management. The latest phase will continue expanding access to these skills among women and female entrepreneurs.
Khaled Hamza, head of marketing, corporate communications and corporate social responsibility at KFH Egypt, said the partnership reflects cooperation between the banking sector and entrepreneurship-support organisations. Rania Ayman, founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, said the program aims to equip women with the knowledge and tools needed to grow their businesses and benefit from the digital economy.
